Development Pathway LCYSA

Development Pathway LCYSA

Building confident, capable players who love the game.

For players ready to take the next step in their soccer journey, the LCYSA Development Program offers a fun, challenging environment where players learn, compete, and grow together.

Program Overview

The LCYSA Development Program helps U10–U13 players build advanced skills, teamwork, and confidence in a supportive, player-centred setting.

  • Designed for athletes who demonstrate both ability and commitment, it bridges the step between House and competitive soccer while emphasizing long-term development — not short-term results.
  • Volunteer coaches complete Canada Soccer’s Learn to Train courses to ensure age-appropriate, high-quality instruction.
  • Teams compete in a league and select tournaments, fostering growth through purposeful competition and a strong sense of team culture.

Program Structure

The Development Program is organized into seasonal training blocks that balance training, competition, and recovery — helping players stay active and improving while maintaining healthy rest periods.
